In Greene County district court persons pleaded not guilty at arraignments during the week ending May 23 as follows: Whitney Jean Campbell Perez, 21, of Coon Rapids, harassment- second degree; Anthony Scott Gray, 33, of Jefferson, theft- second degree; Hayley Lynn Brown, 26, of Jefferson, possession of marijuana- second offense; Randy Robert Lundberg, 51, of Jefferson, possession of marijuana- third offense and possession of methamphetamine; and John Henry Sabus, 44,of Churdan, domestic abuse assault impeding air/blood flow causing bodily injury. Trial dates were set for July 23 all defendants except Sabus. A trial date was set for June 18 for Sabus.
Information is available since the return of arrest warrants that Megan Ann Stuhr, 24,ofFort dodge has been charged with theft- fourth degree and identity theft less than $1,000 in one case, and in a separate case she has been charged with forgery (two counts) and identity theft less than $1,000 (two counts.
Cases were initiated in district court as follows: Ronald Lynn Becker, 48, of Boone, eluding and driving while license barred; Nathan William Merrill, 37, of Jefferson, driving while license revoked; James Michael Gorman, 50, of New York, New York, operating while intoxicated- first offense and possession of marijuana; and Jason William Sheldahl, 48, of Jefferson, domestic abuse assault- second offense.
